IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR ATTENDEES

Please note: this page will be updated regularly as we receive new information. Last updated: 18th July.

As an Organiser, we are following government guidance and organising the job fair based on the government lifting restrictions in July and encourage you to do the same when attending the Job Fair. However, as the guidance and restrictions are continually changing, we would like you to take into consideration that this could affect your attendance at the Job Fair at short notice and therefore, the Job Fair going ahead.

What is the Healthcare Job Fair?
Based on your valuable feedback, we made the decision to merge our Doctor’s, Allied Health and Nursing & Midwifery Job Fairs together to create the Healthcare Job Fair, the largest multidisciplinary Job Fair for Health and Social Care in the UK & Ireland.
What is a Job Fair?
A Job Fair, is an event where different health and social care organisations exchange information with potential Jobseekers regarding open positions. Those in attendance can interact with recruitment teams to learn more about available positions and potential career paths, (eg. Medical, Nursing, Health or Social Care). They allow in-house recruitment teams to get away from the distractions of staffing a busy hospital and to focus exclusively on meeting and recruiting great candidates all under the one roof. Attending a Job Fair is useful for those who are looking for employment, as they can meet with many hiring professionals and explore several opportunities at the same time, also with the potential for interviews on the day.
What should I wear to the Healthcare Job Fair?
It is important to make sure you dress appropriately when attending a Job Fair to look professional and impress hiring managers. The way you present yourself will serve as the first impression to those with whom you interact at the Job Fair. Stand out and present yourself more professionally can make a difference to those who are responsible for hiring new employees. Dress as if you are attending a job interview as some hospitals may conduct interviews on the day. Please check local Covid-19 restrictions at the time of the Job Fair as masks might be required.
How to prepare for the Healthcare Job Fair?
Research the employers you want to speak with at the job fair and check out their corporate website – learn something about them as an employer, did they win an award? This is very useful to bring up in an interview as it shows that you have done your research.
Who will be looking to recruit at the Healthcare Job Fair?
Our Healthcare Job Fair is exclusively for employers to directly recruit Medical, Nursing, Health & Social Care professionals across all specialities and grades. Keep a close eye on this website in the run up to the Job Fair for information on employers and jobs on offer at the Job Fair. The list is updated regularly.
How long should I stay at a Healthcare Job Fair?
Allow enough time to meet all the employers you are interested in speaking with and be available for interviews on the day if required – we recommend staying for your full 1 hour 30 minute slot.

Do I need to wear a mask at all times?
This will depend on the location of the venue, however if face coverings are no longer required by law, we recommend that people should continue to wear them in crowded and enclosed settings. Please refer to local government recommendations.
